1983 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu.

Tıp Eğitimini 2001-2007 yılları arasında İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesinde aldı. 2007 yılında Taksim Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniği’nde uzmanlık eğitimine başladı.

2012 yılında “Uzman” oldu. 2012 yılında Bedelli Askerlikten faydalandı.

2012-2015 yılları arasında Taksim Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Ortopedi ve Travmatloji Uzmanı olarak çalıştı. 2015 yılında aynı klinikte Başasistan olarak Eğitim kadrosuna girmeye hak kazandı.

2014-2016 yılları arasında AO-Trauma Türkiye’de Eğiticilik yaptı. 2015-2016 yıllarında İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi-Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu- Yarı Zamanlı Öğretim Görevlisi olarak çalıştı.

Yerli ve Yabancı birçok Uluslararası dergide 50’nin üzerinde araştırma makalesi ve derlemeleri bulunan Doç. Dr. Harun Mutlu özellikle Travma cerrahisi, Ateşli Silah yaralanmaları, Spor cerrahisi, Diz ve Kalça kireçlenmeleri üzerinde yoğunlaşmış, medikal tedavi ve protez cerrahisi konusunda ileri derecede deneyime sahiptir.

Evli ve 1 Kız çocuk babasıdır. İyi derecede İngilizce bilmektedir.
